Building a strong brand framework

Tata Steel is among the top ten steel manufacturers in the world. It operates in more than 20 countries and has a commercial presence in over 50.

It has the capacity to produce over 30 million tonnes of crude steel every year. 

Following the consolidation of Corus (UK, renamed Tata Steel Europe), the company reorganised the business enabling it to better service key markets.

Building a solid brand identity

The Industry team first worked with Tata Steel on the development of its brand guidelines. Building on a solid brand framework, Industry then helped evolve the guidelines to support its strong market focus.

Photography as a central expression

Central to this was the role of photography, which became an important expression of the qualities of the company as well as signposting its commitment to key markets, including automotive, packaging and rail.

Industry continues to work with Tata Steel on the art direction of its photography and management of its creative assets.
