Jim is an acknowledged pioneer of corporate branding and the strategic use of design as a business discipline. As organisations embrace the digital age, he believes that design can help them see problems in a new light and find solutions that work in people’s real world experience.

Co-founding consultancy Lloyd Northover in 1975, Jim was the company’s Chairman until 2011. During that time he worked for public and private sector clients in the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, building experience across sectors such as financial services, government, transport and infrastructure.

Jim joined Industry Partners as Chairman in 2012 and was instrumental in helping develop Industry’s presence in the Gulf Region. He continues to provide senior counsel on projects, both internationally and in the UK, where recently he has been advising on regeneration and cultural programmes.

Jim holds a first class degree in design and an MA in design writing criticism from the University of the Arts London.
