Account Manager


We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and talented Account Manager to take a leading role in managing the day-to-day relationships with some of our most exciting clients. 




  • To be the day-to-day contact point for key clients
  • To work with the Strategy Director and Creative Director to plan and cost client projects
  • To oversee production of work on time and on budget
  • To support with the development of new business proposals and pitches
  • To manage various suppliers including photographers, illustrators, translators, video producers and printers. 
  • To proof read and check quality of all key deliverables before they go to the client
  • To input to studio planning
  • To input to financial forecasts and oversee invoicing on client accounts
  • To undertake research to support the Strategy Director with pitches and strategic brand assignments


Key aspects of the role include:


Account management

Support to Directors in the day-to-day management of research, brand, digital and communications projects for designated key clients from initial brief through to completion and delivery:

  • Taking initial brief from client
  • Mapping the project sequence and develop project plan
  • Estimating consultancy time, project stage by stage, defining resource requirements throughout
  • Preparing quotations for client approval
  • Scheduling projects and monitoring time spent to ensure profitability
  • Overseeing projects to ensure client expectations are met and liaising with client on day-to-day project related issues
  • Ensuring clear documentation of all changes, amendments and further work undertaken on a client's instruction and keeping client informed of any cost implications
  • Producing contact reports and status reports
  • Ensuring that projects are invoiced, in a timely and profitable manner
  • Attending client meetings to update on work in progress
  • Finding opportunities to grow the client business


New Business  

Work with the Directors to develop proposals for prospective clients, and as part of a pitch team for specific pitch presentations:

  • Taking brief with one of the Directors
  • Plan response with the pitch team
  • Develop proposal with guidance from one of the Directors
  • Participate in pitch presentation as required


Marketing and insight

Contribute to new business development and marketing:

  • Monitoring new market trends and developments impacting clients and brand discipline
  • Spotting new business opportunities
  • Developing thinking and writing papers
  • Managing the consultancy’s own research programmes
