Bidwells is a UK property consultancy managing £5.2bn of property assets for a range of clients, including some of the most pre-eminent landowning colleges in Oxford and Cambridge, multinational institutions, developers and investors. It also has a strong rural presence, managing thousands of square miles of the English and Scottish countryside and coastline.
Bidwells commissioned the rebrand to help showcase its unique ability to offer its clients knowledge of, and access to, some of the most interesting real estate markets with the highest growth potential in the UK.
Industry worked closely with the Bidwells board over a six month period to define a new proposition, as part of a wider drive to consolidate the firm’s leading position in its core markets.
As well as developing a library of new photographic case studies showcasing the exciting work being carried out by the company, Industry also built a new website packed with insightful content to demonstrate Bidwells' depth of expertise in a new editorial style, with moving hero photography.
The new identity, which introduces a dynamic triangle symbol, reflects the company’s focus on the ‘golden triangle’, encompassing London, Oxford and Cambridge. This is combined with with an elegant typeset that mirrors the Cambridge and Oxford light and dark blue. Unique within the property sector, the new Bidwells identity provides a strong platform from which to grow its market share by 15 – 20% over the next five years.
“The repositioning helped us focus on our strengths as a business and develop our core proposition. It was as much about defining the services we don’t offer, as those we do. We have identified our key strengths and developed a clear vision for the company focusing on the geographical golden triangle and sectors where we have unrivalled knowledge and expertise, including science and technology, education, forestry, renewables and agriculture.”
Marc McConnell, Director of Business Development at Bidwells.
